When a rookie wide receiver flashes in Year 1, the big question is always: what’s next? For Rome Odunze, the books set his line at 850.5 receiving yards heading into Year 2. That number sits right in the sweet spot — high enough to respect the talent, low enough to tempt you if you believe in the leap.
Now he enters a Ben Johnson offense with Caleb Williams at quarterback, and there’s every reason to think the arrow is pointing up. Odunze has the size, polish, and physicality to step into the WR1 role sooner than later. The big question is whether DJ Moore or rookie Luther Burden cut into that workload, or if Odunze simply becomes the go-to guy right away.
